So who has the cooties? I am hearing a lot of you have the flu! YUCK. We missed you last night.

Last night we asked you to pray for Ryan and his family. His dad is really sick and in the ICU. Also, pray for Kristen Price. She is a 9th grader that has been coming on Wed. nights. She lost her mom this week. the funeral was today.

So last night we looked at....what books would Jesus be reading? What would he watch on TV? Movies?

Acts 17 talks about engaging culture...we as believers cannot live in a bubble outside the rest of the world. We need to be aware of culture and engage culture so we can share Christ with those around us.

Like Paul we need to find a way to bridge the gap in langauge and culture. Becuase the culture has its own culture and langauge.

How do we that?
Be intentional. Look for ways to talk about the things of the Lord through culture.

But we must be wise. We must be grounded in Scripture. And never do anything that is contrary to what our parents say. Engaging culture is not an excuse to sin.
